The closing nights of the tour were at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, with the engagement ending on January 27, 1989. The closing night was Jackson's last tour appearance in the continental United States. |

Charity concert at Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany & at Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South Korea for Red Cross & Nelson Mandela Fund. Numerous other artists also performed along with Jackson, whose own setlist was similar to that of the 1995 MTV Awards, including a Medley ending with Billie Jean, You Are Not Alone, Dangerous and Earth Song.
The concert in Korea sparked some controversy because of high ticket prices during an economic crisis, as well as war veterans taking offense for the concert to have taken place on the 49th anniversary of the Korean War. Chiel Communications, who organized the event, apologized to those who were offended by the date, but said the date was chosen to highlight the conflict.
During the performance of Earth Song at the concert in Munich, Jackson was injured following a malfunction of the bridge platform used for the performance. The bridge fell and pyrotechnics caused an explosion.
